Abstract: The invention relates to a biodegradable polymer composition comprising the following components (a)-(f) and/or product(s) formed from a reaction between the components: (a) one or more biodegradable polyesters; (b) polysaccharide; (c) polymer having pendant carboxylic acid groups; (d) transesterification catalyst; (e) polyepoxide; and (f) fatty acid sodium salt.
