Abstract: The invention relates to a portable hard surface vacuum (10) comprising a suction nozzle (45) and a suction unit (16), which is in fluid connection with the suction nozzle, for vacuuming a liquid-air mixture from a hard surface, and comprising a separating device (40, 57) for separating liquid from the liquid-air mixture and comprising a waste liquid tank (23) for receiving the separated liquid. In order to refine the hard surface vacuum in such a way that a constant suction flow is provided, regardless of the fill level of the waste liquid tank, and such that operation in an arbitrary orientation in relation to the vertical position can be carried out, a separating chamber (33) is arranged between the suction nozzle and the suction unit, said chamber housing the separating unit and being in fluid connection via a suction line (47) to the suction port (48) of the suction nozzle and in fluid connection to the suction unit via a suction line (60), and said chamber being connected via an outlet opening (67) to the waste liquid tank, wherein the port regions (51, 61) of the suction (47) and vacuum line within the separating chamber are surrounded at least partially by intermediate storage regions (71, 72, 73) for separated liquid in the circumferential direction.

Abstract: The cleaning robot (10) has a drive unit with a permanently driven wheel (31) which is pivoted about a steering axis (24) extending perpendicular to the floor surface (12), eccentric to the driven wheel. The driven wheel is rotated in an arc about the steering axis, against a resetting spring force when the cleaning robot abuts an obstacle in its movement path.

Abstract: In order to further develop a vehicle washing installation comprising at least one nozzle arrangement which is movable past a vehicle to be cleaned in the longitudinal and transverse directions thereof and is adapted to be supplied with a cleaning liquid for cleaning the vehicle, so that it is of structurally simpler design and is less susceptible to failure, it is proposed, in accordance with the invention, that the nozzle arrangement comprise at least two groups of nozzles, with a first group of nozzles facing the vehicle to be cleaned during a transverse movement of the nozzle arrangement and a second group of nozzles facing the vehicle to be cleaned during a longitudinal movement of the nozzle arrangement.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for controlling a mobile floor surface treatment device comprising a drive unit, at least one floor surface treatment unit and a control unit, wherein the locomotion of the floor surface treatment device and/or the operating mode of at least one floor surface treatment device can be controlled by said control unit. In order to improve upon said method such that the qualities of the floor surface that is to be treated can be classified in a constructively simple manner, the movement behaviour of the floor surface treatment device and the motor current of at least one drive motor of the drive unit and/or floor surface treatment unit is/are detected and the quality of the floor surface that is to be treated is classified by means of a floor surface classification member according to the movement behaviour thus detected and the detected motor current. A floor surface treatment device for carrying out said method is also disclosed.
