TL;DR: In this article, the conveyor belt has carriers mounted on it, and jaws mounted under the carriers hold them on the upper section of the belt, and when they approach the end roller, a spring-loaded clamp (21) presses the belt against the jaw so that the carrier can be removed.
Abstract: The conveyor belt has carriers (7) mounted on it. Jaws (20) mounted under the carriers hold them on the upper section (16) of the belt. When they approach the end roller (13) a spring-loaded clamp (21) presses the belt against the jaw so that the carrier can be removed. A disk (22) which is coaxial with the roller prevents the jaw from moving away from the belt.
TL;DR: In this article, a transport device with a first forward track rail and a second backward track rail on which the trucks are moved is described, and the vehicles are supported on friction wheels coupled directly to a first adjusting lever for moving between an advancing position and an idling position and coupled indirectly to a second adjusting lever (35) which moves in the opposite direction.
Abstract: The transport device has a first forward track rail and a second backward track rail on which the trucks are moved. The trucks are supported on friction wheels (4a-4d) coupled directly to a first adjusting lever (25) for moving between an advancing position and an idling position and coupled indirectly to a second adjusting lever (35) which moves in the opposite direction. The levers each have a stop interacting with first and second switch blocks (26, 32) on an adjusting rod (27) so that in one mode the axes of the friction wheels swivel between the idling and forward advancing position and in a second mode swivel between the idling position and backward moving position. At least one of the levers is coupled to a reversing spring (49) whose connecting point is movable so that in the idling position the levers are drawn either towards the forward advancing position or backward advancing position.
TL;DR: In this article, a safety gate for process equipment lifts and lowers between two vertical guides, each of which includes at least one vertical brake bar which is gripped by pairs of brake shoes which are pivot mounted to increase the brake force as the frame moves down.
Abstract: A safety gate for process equipment lifts and lowers between two vertical guides. The frame includes at least one vertical brake bar which is gripped by pairs of brake shoes which are pivot mounted to increase the brake force as the frame moves down. This ensures that the gate is braked with a minimum of overrun. The brake is activated if an operator traps an arm under the gate as the gate is lowered.
