Abstract: . This paper presents the Meso-NH model version 5.4. Meso-NH is an atmospheric non hydrostatic research model that is applied to a broad range of resolutions, from synoptic to turbulent scales, and is designed for studies of physics and chemistry. It is a limited-area model employing advanced numerical techniques, including monotonic advection schemes for scalar transport and fourth-order centered or odd-order WENO advection schemes for momentum. The model includes state-of-the-art physics parameterization schemes that are important to represent convective-scale phenomena and turbulent eddies, as well as flows at larger scales. In addition, Meso-NH has been expanded to provide capabilities for a range of Earth system prediction applications such as chemistry and aerosols, electricity and lightning, hydrology, wildland fires, volcanic eruptions, and cyclones with ocean coupling. Here, we present the main innovations to the dynamics and physics of the code since the pioneer paper of Lafore et al. (1998) and provide an overview of recent applications and couplings.

Abstract: La economia del canton Zapotillo esta ha girado en torno a la produccion agropecuaria y al comercio, sector que ha sido revitalizado a raiz de la firma de la paz con el Peru. La superficie total del canton Zapotillo es de 1.215 Km. Se cuenta con 120.892 has de ellas 22.750 has. Son de produccion agricola y 15.200 has Con siembras de temporal, es decir durante la epoca de invierno; siendo reducida la cantidad de productos que al contar con sistema de riego pueden realizar una produccion permanente, factor que puede mejorarse al entrar a funcionar en toda su capacidad el canal de riego de Zapotillo Con respecto al ganado caprino, la provincia de Loja alcanza la mas alta produccion de ganado caprino con un total de 115 165 cabezas, es decir el 57,14% de la produccion nacional, siendo el canton Zapotillo donde se concentra mayoritariamente (MAG. 2004)

Abstract: This article is based on education for power and citizenship and related educational and social problems, where the axis of the issue is the environmental resources applied to learning geometry. These have a great impact on the teaching process, as it is currently considered that education should be interactive with respect to the environment. In recent years, the educational system has been able to perceive that, in scientific areas such as geometry, students have been limited to the role of receivers of conceptual contents from texts and websites, leaving aside the interaction by the learner with the surrounding environment. Studies using surveys conducted based on a Likert scale and administered with questions in simple language that is easily understood by the respondents have shown us that if the utility of environmental resources can be successfully merged with scientific areas, the result is greater knowledge acquisition and interest among students, especially in the area of geometry. This proposal is based on a change in the current educational model, employing a more attractive design, in which young people achieve greater proximity to subject being studied.

Abstract: En los ultimos anos las tendencias arquitectonicas se han visto innovadas por la generacion “millennial”, quienes son pioneros en la incursion del mundo digital. Algunos autores senalan a este grupo de personas como tolerantes, activistas, emprendedoras, optimistas y capaces de trabajar en equipo a favor de un mejor futuro. Por tanto, en la actualidad toma importancia el analisis de las caracteristicas de esta generacion y las condiciones de habitabilidad del espacio con respecto al estilo de vida: la tecnologia, la familia, la comunidad y el medio ambiente. Este articulo de revision tiene por objeto identificar caracteristicas generales de los espacios arquitectonicos que satisfacen a los “millenials" en terminos de vivienda. De la revision bibliografica y documental se recoge una vivienda de caracteristicas economicamente accesible, flexible, climaticamente confortable, con areas verdes, eficiente en el consumo de agua y energia, con uso de sistemas de automatizacion y politicas desarrolladas en comunidad con los vecinos. Estas propiedades guardan relacion con unas practicas ambientales que de manera local incidan en el entorno global en a favor de un estilo de vida sostenible.

Abstract: A water inlet valve providing stain resistance, easy cleaning, and quick disassembly includes an inlet passage having an insert opening disposed at an upper end of the water inlet valve; an inlet divider; a filter component connected to the inlet divider to form a filtering dividing mechanism, and a water stop valve in communication with the water inlet valve that that controls the water inlet valve to stop water flow. The filter component and the inlet divider are disposed between the inlet passage an outlet of the inlet valve, water flowing through the inlet passage is filtered and is divided into two waterways by the inlet divider including a main waterway that flows to the outlet for inletting and a sub-waterway that flows to the water stop valve, and the filtering dividing mechanism is inserted into the inlet passage through the insert opening and is disassembled from the insert opening.
Abstract: Most people reading this will have met migrants in their neighbourhoods, workplaces or social circles, or they themselves will be migrants. Moreover, many people have encountered the subject of migration in the media. Ranging from films and newspapers to tweets, that coverage may have portrayed migration in one way or another, or simply raised it as a topical issue. To a large extent, our perceptions, attitudes or beliefs about migration are based on both direct experiences and those channelled through the lens of the media, although the precise mixture likely depends on our individual situations. Many people, including researchers, journalists, politicians and members of the public, present and debate particular viewpoints about migration while ignoring others. Sometimes, this deliberately encourages us to think in particular ways. Other times, it is unintentional or related to the fact that media content is often produced quickly and tends to be of limited length.
