Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor cleaning machine capable of broadly cleaning without leaving a residue of unclean liquid on a floor. SOLUTION: The floor cleaning machine 1 has a chassis 2. The chassis 2 can move over the floor along a moving direction. The chassis 2 supports a means 3a for cleaning the floor on the side directed toward the floor, and supports a floor wiper 4 which can move, with respect to the chassis 2, along a path which is substantially transverse to the travel direction of the chassis 2 in the rear with respect to the floor cleaning means 3a along the moving direction of the chassis 2. The chassis 2 is provided with a steering means 5 which can be operated to change its travel direction. The machine 1 further has an actuation means which acts on the floor wiper 4 so as to move the floor wiper 4 along the path following an intervention made on the steering means 5 to change the travel direction of the chassis 2.
