Succession of the Resident Soil Microbial Community in Response to Periodic Inoculations
Zhikang Wang,Zhikang Wang,Ziyun Chen,George A. Kowalchuk,Ziheng Xu,Xiangxiang Fu,Eiko E. Kuramae +6 more
TL;DR: The dynamic responses of plant growth, soil functions, and the resident bacterial community in the bulk soil to periodic inoculations of phosphate-solubilizing and N2-fixing bacteria alone or in combination are examined and initial inoculation plays a more important role in influencing the whole system.
Microbial inoculants modulate growth traits, nutrients acquisition and bioactive compounds accumulation of Cyclocarya paliurus (Batal.) Iljinskaja under degraded field condition
Zhikang Wang,Zhikang Wang,Ziheng Xu,Ziyun Chen,George A. Kowalchuk,Xiangxiang Fu,Eiko E. Kuramae +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of co-inoculation with phyto-stimulatory strains (Azospirillum brasilense and Pseudomonas fluorescens) and nutrient-enhancing strains (Bacillus megaterium and Azotobacter chroococcum) were investigated.

Effects of Phosphate-Solubilizing Bacteria and N2-fixing Bacteria on Nutrient Uptake, Plant Growth, and Bioactive Compound Accumulation in Cyclocarya paliurus (Batal.) Iljinskaja
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of different inoculants on plant growth and bioactive compound accumulation in C. paliurus plantations were examined, and three inoculant types (PSB, NFB, PSB + NFB) were compared with single bacterial addition.
Effects of probiotic consortia on plant metabolites are associated with soil indigenous microbiota and fertilization regimes
Zhi-kang Wang,Ziyun Chen,Marcio F. A. Leite,Ziheng Xu,Quan Lin,George A. Kowalchuk,Xiangxiang Fu,Eiko E. Kuramae +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the effects of probiotics on plant metabolites are associated with fertilization regimes and soil-indigenous microbes, and specific soil microbes were predicted as potential indicators that may assist or impede the effect of probiotic on plant metabolite production.

Phosphorus-dissolving nitrogen-fixing composite bacterial fertilizer applied to southern lean soil and preparation method and application thereof
Zhikang Wang,Xiangxiang Fu,Ziyun Chen,Shang Xulan,Ziheng Xu +4 more
- 11 Oct 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, a phosphorus-dissolving nitrogen-fixing composite bacterial fertilizer is applied to southern lean soil and a preparation method and application thereof is discussed. And a culture method comprises the steps that the bacteria are inoculated ontoan improved LB culture medium for culture; a bacterium solution after culture is diluted, and then inoculated into to-be improved soil according to different bacterial combinations for culture.
