Papers
Preparation of hardened tiles from waste phosphogypsum by a new intermittent pressing hydration
TL;DR: In this paper, the solid waste phosphogypsum (PG), as the sole raw material, was processed into hardened tiles with favorable mechanical strength by a novel intermittent pressing hydration process.

Preparation of halloysite-derived mesoporous silica nanotube with enlarged specific surface area for enhanced dye adsorption
Zhu Shu,Zhu Shu,Yun Chen,Yun Chen,Jun Zhou,Jun Zhou,Tiantian Li,Tiantian Li,Zimo Sheng,Zimo Sheng,Chunwei Tao,Chunwei Tao,Yanxin Wang +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, an approach to enlarge the surface area of halloysite-derived mesoporous silica nanotubes with a specific surface area up to 618m 2 /g is presented.
43
Calcium sulfate whisker reinforced non-fired ceramic tiles prepared from phosphogypsum
TL;DR: In this article, a calcium sulfate whisker (CSW) was used as a reinforcing agent to increase the bending strength of polygonal polysilicon tiles with 1.5 Wt.% CSW.

Mesoporous silica derived from kaolin: Specific surface area enlargement via a new zeolite-involved template-free strategy
Zhu Shu,Zhu Shu,Tiantian Li,Tiantian Li,Jun Zhou,Jun Zhou,Yun Chen,Yun Chen,Zimo Sheng,Zimo Sheng,Yanxin Wang,Ximing Yuan,Ximing Yuan +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a template-free strategy was proposed and demonstrated to process natural kaolin into mesoporous silica with enlarged specific surface area (SBET), which showed favorable adsorption ability towards methylene blue.

Novel fabrication route for non-fired ceramic tiles only using gypsum
TL;DR: In this paper, gypsum non-firing tiles were prepared using a fabrication route: dehydrating gypsuma into semi-hydrates, stirring with a little water and immediately press-forming; stacking the green tiles together, and then water-immersing to hydrate semi-Hydrate gypsums into dihydrate gymsum in the tiles under continually loading pressure.
