Amphibian (Rana nigromaculata)exposed to cyproconazole: Changes in growth index, behavioral endpoints, antioxidant biomarkers, thyroid and gonad development.
Wenjun Zhang,Li Chen,Yuanyuan Xu,Yue Deng,Luyao Zhang,Yinan Qin,Zikang Wang,Rui Liu,Zhiqiang Zhou,Jinling Diao +9 more
TL;DR: Findings reflect the toxicity of cyproconazole to R. nigromaculata and further the understanding of the effects of pesticide exposure on global amphibian population declines.

Nano selenium repairs the fruit growth and flavor quality of tomato under the stress of penthiopyrad.
Ruiquan Liu,Yue Wen Deng,Meiling Zheng,Yuping Liu,Zikang Wang,Simin Yu,Yufan Nie,Wentao Zhu,Zhiqiang Zhou,Jinling Diao +9 more
TL;DR: In this article , the repair effect of Selenium nanoparticles (Se-NPs) on tomato under the stress of Penthiopyrad (Pen), and expected to select out the optimal concentration and the application time of SeNPs, to maximize the repairing effect without causing phytotoxicity.

Enantioselective mechanism of toxic effects of triticonazole against Chlorella pyrenoidosa.
TL;DR: R-(-)-TRZ was concluded to selectively affect the photosynthetic system, antioxidant system, and lipid synthesis of algal cells, thus causing enantioselective toxic effects of TRZ against C. pyrenoidosa, indicating that the use of racemate may cause unpredictable environmental harm.

Perfluorooctanoic acid exposure impact a trade-off between self-maintenance and reproduction in lizards (Eremias argus) in a gender-dependent manner.
Luyao Zhang,Zhiyuan Meng,Li Chen,Guiting Zhang,Wenjun Zhang,Zhongnan Tian,Zikang Wang,Simin Yu,Zhiqiang Zhou,Jinling Diao +9 more
TL;DR: Lizards living in the soil polluted by perfluorooctanoic acid were selected as the main focus and results revealed that lizards' life-history trade-offs are gender-dependent: females were more inclined to choose a "Conservative" life- history strategy.

Hepatotoxicity and reproductive disruption in male lizards (Eremias argus) exposed to glufosinate-ammonium contaminated soil.
Luyao Zhang,Jinling Diao,Li Chen,Zikang Wang,Wenjun Zhang,Yao Li,Zhongnan Tian,Zhiqiang Zhou +7 more
TL;DR: Changes in antioxidant enzyme activities in response to elevated malondialdehyde levels in lizard testis indicated that testes were strongly affected by oxidative damage, and the increased testis index was associated with severe testis lesions.
