Optimal output power coordinated control strategy of distributed power flow controller
TL;DR: In this article , an optimal output power coordinated control strategy of a distributed power flow controller (DPFC) multi-sub-unit is proposed, which can greatly reduce the total loss of the device compared with the traditional methods, such as equipartition method and the capacity proportion method.

One Optimal Sizing Method for Designing Hybrid Solar-Wind-Diesel Power Generation Systems
Zhou Wei,Yang Hongxing +1 more
- 01 Jan 2008
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an optimal design model for designing stand-alone hybrid solar-wind-diesel systems, which ensures that the annualized cost of the systems is minimized while satisfying the load demand for 5-year period from 1996 to 2000, result in zero load rejection with minimum cost.

Optimum design of hybrid solar-wind-diesel power generation system using genetic algorithm
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an optimum design method for sizing stand-alone hybrid solar-wind- diesel system with the help of genetic algorithm (GA), which is achieved not only by selecting an appropriate system configuration, but also by finding a suitable control strategy for the diesel generator.

One Novel Optimum Sizing Method for Solar Lighting System by Using Genetic Algorithm
Li Zhongshi,Zhou Wei,Yang Hongxing +2 more
- 16 Oct 2009
TL;DR: Based on GA, one optimum sizing method for solar lighting system with battery banks was recommended in this paper, where the decision variables included in the optimization process are the PV module capacity, battery capacity and PV module slope angle.

Research on oscillation characteristics of wind farm sending system based on participation factor
TL;DR: In this article , a small-signal model of the MMC-HVDC transmission system for a wind farm is established, and the participation factors of 11 oscillation modes of the system are calculated to further analyze the relationship between the oscillation mode and the state variables in the transmission system of the wind farms.
