Twofold effect of self-interest in pedestrian room evacuation.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the evacuation dynamics of pedestrians in a square room with one exit, where the movement of pedestrians is guided by the static floor field model, and the pedestrians are allowed to adjust their strategies when competing with others.

Comment on "Maximal planar networks with large clustering coefficient and power-law degree distribution".
TL;DR: Zhou et al. as discussed by the authors corrected the error which appeared in the calculation of the degree distribution of random Apollonian networks, and gave the expression P(k) alpha 1/[k(k + 1)(k + 2] for the probability that a randomly selected node has exactly k edges.

Enhancing transport efficiency by hybrid routing strategy
TL;DR: Yan et al. as mentioned in this paper proposed a hybrid routing strategy model for network traffic system, to realize the plenary utility of the whole network, and the analytical solution to the jamming processes is verified by estimating the number of jammed nodes.
Universal effect of dynamical reinforcement learning mechanism in spatial evolutionary games
TL;DR: A generalized win?stay, lose?shift learning model?a reinforcement learning model with dynamic aspiration level?is proposed to describe how humans adapt their social behaviors based on their social experiences to highlight the importance of the mechanism of adaptive aspiration level in supporting cooperation in structured populations.
