The effects of social comparison and depressive mood on adolescent social decision-making
TL;DR: Based on social comparison theory, two experiments were conducted to explore the effects of depression and social comparison on adolescents, using the ultimatum game (UG) and showed that the fairer the proposal was, the higher the sense of fairness participants felt, and the higher their acceptance rate as mentioned in this paper.
The Influence of Social Comparison and Peer Group Size on Risky Decision-Making.
TL;DR: The results indicate that decision making is influenced both by social comparison and the number of people making up the social reference group, with the larger the reference group the more polarized the behavior it prompted.
