Preparation of tubular hierarchically porous silicate cement compacts via a tert-butyl alcohol (TBA)-based freeze casting method
TL;DR: Tubular porous silicate cement compacts with hierarchical porosity were successfully fabricated via a tert-butyl alcohol (TBA)-based freeze-casting technique in one single step as discussed by the authors.

Freeze casting of novel porous silicate cement supports using tert-butyl alcohol-water binary crystals as template: Microstructure, strength and permeability
TL;DR: In this article, the pore morphology of porous cement substrates changes from prismatic to needle-like, dendritic, coralline, graininess and lamellar structure with the increasing of tert-butyl alcohol (TBA)/water (H2O) mutually miscible system.

Recovery of petroleum sulfonate from petrochemical dispersion by modified three-compartment electrodialysis
TL;DR: In this article, a modified three-compartment electrodialysis (MTED) was applied to the recovery of petroleum sulfonate from petrochemical dispersion, and the results indicated that 99.4% of the petroleum sulfone in the dispersion could be recovered at the applied voltage 25,V, flux rate 30,L/h, temperature 40°C and initial concentration 7.5% (NH 4 ) 2 SO 4.

High Flux Nanofiltration Membranes with Double-Walled Carbon Nanotube (DWCNT) as the Interlayer
Zhen Wang,Xiaoquan Wang,Tao Zheng,Bing Mo,Huacheng Xu,Yijun Huang,Jia Wang,Congjie Gao,Xueli Gao +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a composite NF membrane was prepared through the interfacial polymerization of M-phenylenediamine (MPD) and trimesoyl chloride (TMC) on a double-walled carbon nanotube (DWCNT) interlayer supported by PES substrate.
Environmental Friendly Fabrication of Porous Cement Membranes via Reusable Camphene-Based Freeze-Casting Method
TL;DR: In this article , an environmental friendly unidirectional freezing method via introducing camphene as a reusable template was adapted to prepare porous cement membranes (PCMs), which could be divided into three parts: a dense layer, a transition layer and a supporting layer.
