Lewis Acid Catalyzed Intramolecular [3+2] Cross‐Cycloaddition of Donor–Acceptor Cyclopropanes with Carbonyls: A General Strategy for the Construction of Acetal[n.2.1] Skeletons
TL;DR: The first catalytic intramolecular cycloaddition of monodonor-monoacceptor cyclopropanes provides a general and efficient strategy for construction of structurally diverse acetal and 1,4-dioxygen-substituted cyclic skeletons, which are widely distributed in biologically important natural products.

Enantioselective Synthesis of Dihydropyran-Fused Indoles through [4+2] Cycloaddition between Allenoates and 3-Olefinic Oxindoles
TL;DR: A highly enantioselective [4+2] annulation with respect to allenoates and 3-olefinic oxindoles catalyzed by Lewis base was reported, which proved to be an efficient way to synthesize chiral dihydropyran-fused indoles.

Equilibrium acidities of proline derived organocatalysts in DMSO.
TL;DR: Equilibrium acidities of proline and its derived organocatalysts were measured in DMSO by an overlapping indicator method via UV/vis spectrophotometric titration and the pKa values are in the range of 11.17-23.81.

Design and Applications of N-tert-Butyl Sulfinyl Squaramide Catalysts
TL;DR: A new chiral HBD system, N-tert-butyl sulfinyl squaramide with an 1-aminoindan-2-ol skeleton, was designed and synthesized and found to be an efficient catalyst in the enantioselective Friedel-Crafts alkylation of indoles and acyl phosphonates.

The Acidities of Nucleophilic Monofluoromethylation Reagents: An Anomalous α‐Fluorine Effect
TL;DR: In this article, the anomalous α-fluorine substitution effect on the α-Csp3 -H acidity of most (phenylsulfonyl)methane derivatives was reported.
