Single-cell RNA sequencing reveals a pro-invasive cancer-associated fibroblast subgroup associated with poor clinical outcomes in patients with gastric cancer
Xuechun Li,Zhao Sun,Gongxin Peng,Yi-Qin Xiao,Junchao Guo,Bin Wu,Xiaoyi Li,Wei-Xun Zhou,Jiarui Li,Zhe Li,Chunmei Bai,Lin Zhao,Qin Han,Robert Chunhua Zhao,Xiaoyue Wang +14 more
TL;DR: iCAFs and eCAFs not only exhibited enhanced pro-invasive activities but also mobilized the surrounding immune cells to construct a tumor-favorable microenvironment, suggesting that it represents a promising therapeutic strategy for the treatment of GC.

CA19-9 elevation as an indication to start salvage treatment in surveillance after pancreatic cancer resection
TL;DR: CA19-9 elevation could preceded recurrence confirmed by radiographic examinations in most patients, and tumor marker-guided salvage treatment can significantly prolong disease-free survival and overall survival in patients under surveillance after pancreatic cancer resection.

Cancer-Associated Fibroblasts Promote the Upregulation of PD-L1 Expression Through Akt Phosphorylation in Colorectal Cancer
Yang Gao,Zhao Sun,Junjie Gu,Zhe Li,Xiuxiu Xu,Chunling Xue,Xuechun Li,Lin Zhao,Jianfeng Zhou,Chunmei Bai,Qin Han,Robert Chunhua Zhao,Robert Chunhua Zhao +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors found that CAFs upregulated PD-L1 expression in colorectal cancer cells through AKT phosphorylation, thereby reducing the killing of CRC cells by peripheral blood mononuclear cells.

Prognostic Value of Modified Model for End-Stage Liver Disease Scores in Patients With Significant Tricuspid Regurgitation.
Junxing Lv,Yunqing Ye,Zhe Li,Bin Zhang,Qingrong Liu,Qinghao Zhao,Zhen-Yan Zhao,Weiwei Wang,Haitong Zhang,Zhenya Duan,Bin-Cheng Wang,Zikai Yu,Shuai Guo,Yanyan Zhao,Runlin Gao,Haiyan Xu,Yongjian Wu +16 more
TL;DR: Both MELD-XI andMELD-Albumin scores provided incremental prognostic information, and could play important roles in risk assessment in patients with significant TR, according to the study.
