Kinetic interactions of nanocomplexes between astaxanthin esters with different molecular structures and β-lactoglobulin.
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of different fatty acid carbon chains on the kinetic interactions of nanocomplexes between esterified astaxanthin (E-Asta) and β-lactoglobulin (β-Lg) were investigated by multi-spectroscopy and molecular modeling techniques.

TL;DR: A process for preparing dried sea cucumber includes such steps as pretreating in the water or aqueous solution of salt at 40-80 deg.C under 100-400 MPa for 10-30 min, and putting the pretreated sea cucumbers in the glutamine transaminase liquid at 40 -80 deg deg.c for 30-90 min this article.

Purification and Characterization of Trimethylamine-N-Oxide Demethylase from Jumbo Squid (Dosidicus gigas)
TL;DR: Reducing agents such as DTT, Na2SO3, and NADH were effective at activating TMAOase, and ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, as well as Mg2+ and Ca2+, could also enhance the activity of TMA Oase remarkably, whereas the T MAOase could be significantly inhibited by tea polyphenol, phytic acid and acetic acid.

Sea cucumber cerebrosides and long-chain bases from Acaudina molpadioides protect against high fat diet-induced metabolic disorders in mice
Xiaofang Liu,Jie Xu,Yong Xue,Zhuang Gao,Zhaojie Li,Kailiang Leng,Jingfeng Wang,Changhu Xue,Yuming Wang +8 more
TL;DR: SCC and LCB were efficacious in suppressing hepatic SREBP-1c mediated lipogenesis, inhibiting lipid uptake and increasing TG catabolism in the adipose tissue, suggesting that LCB are the key active structural units for preventing MS in humans.

Exogenous natural EPA-enriched phosphatidylcholine and phosphatidylethanolamine ameliorate lipid accumulation and insulin resistance via activation of PPARα/γ in mice
TL;DR: The effects of EPA-PC and EPA-PE on high-fat high-sucrose diet (HFSD) induced insulin resistance and found that insulin resistance as well as abnormal lipid accumulation was ameliorated by EPA- PC andEPA-PE.
