TL;DR: In this paper, the structural and electronic properties of the C3N/h-BN heterostructure were investigated by means of density functional theory, and it was shown that the proposed heterostructures is a narrow-gap semiconductor and it also has uniquely E-field/strain dependent relationship and highly adjustable peculiarity.
