TL;DR: This paper introduces the fundamental methodology and technology of metamodel-based MDO, including aerospace system MDO problem formulation, meetamodeling techniques, state-of-the-art meetingamodels-based multidisciplinary optimization strategies, and expensive black-box constraint-handling mechanisms.
Multidisciplinary design optimization of long-range slender guided rockets considering aeroelasticity and subsidiary loads
Zhao Wei,Zhao Wei,Teng Long,Teng Long,Renhe Shi,Yifan Tang,Yifan Tang,Huaijian Li,Huaijian Li +8 more
TL;DR: The total mass of the studied LRSGR is decreased by 88 kg (i.e., 14% of the total mass) after optimization, which demonstrates the effectiveness and practicability of the proposed MDO framework for LRS GRs.

Long Teng,Zhao Wei,Shi Renhe,Yufei Wu,Tang Yifan +4 more
- 20 Sep 2019
TL;DR: In this article, an earth stationary orbit satellite electric thruster and a layout optimization method are presented, which consists of the steps of establishing a satellite stationary orbit perturbation motion model, establishing an electric thrusters layout for a position maintaining strategy, and calculating projection coefficients, formed along three axes, of thrust vectors of all thruster bodies.
