Melanin-dot–mediated delivery of metallacycle for NIR-II/photoacoustic dual-modal imaging-guided chemo-photothermal synergistic therapy
Yue Sun,Feng Ding,Zhao Chen,Zhao Chen,Ruiping Zhang,Chonglu Li,Yuling Xu,Yi Zhang,Ruidong Ni,Xiaopeng Li,Guang-Fu Yang,Yao Sun,Peter J. Stang +12 more
TL;DR: This study shows that nano-agent 1 provides a promising multifunctional theranostic platform for potential applications in biomedicine and guided by precise dual-modal imaging, exhibits a superior antitumor performance and less severe side effects compared with a single treatment because of the high efficiency of the chemo-photothermal synergistic therapy.

Highly Emissive Multipurpose Organoplatinum(II) Metallacycles with Contrasting Mechanoresponsive Features.
TL;DR: In this article , the synthesis of supramolecular coordination complexes (SCCs) with a bright aggregate state or mechanical-stimuli-responsive luminescence is reported. But no mechanofluorochromism is observed.

Temperature- and Mechanical-Force-Responsive Self-Assembled Rhomboidal Metallacycle
Zhao Chen,Zhao Chen,Jian-Hong Tang,Wenzhuo Chen,Yao Xu,Heng Wang,Zhe Zhang,Hajar Sepehrpour,Gui-Juan Cheng,Xiaopeng Li,Pingshan Wang,Yue Sun,Yue Sun,Peter J. Stang +13 more
TL;DR: The dianthracene-based rhomboidal organoplatinum(II) metallacycle 1 was successfully obtained via coordination-driven self-assembly involving the combination of diplatinum acceptor 2 and dipyri...

Engineering solid nanochannels with macrocyclic host-guest chemistry for stimuli responses and molecular separations.
TL;DR: A review of macrocyclic hosts-based responsive nanochannels can be found in this paper , where the macrocycles have good reversibility and high selectivity toward specific ions or molecules, promoting functionalies of solid nanoch channels.

Highly Efficient Ion Sieving Through Angstrom-Scale Channels Embedded With Supramolecular Coordination Complexes
TL;DR: In this article , the inner walls of a solid polyethylene terephthalate channel having a bullet-like morphology based on self-assembled interfacial growth were attached to the supramolecular coordination complexes and the resulting channels allowed the rapid transport of monovalent metal ions from tip to base while inhibiting the migration of divalent ions (Mg 2+ and Ca 2+ ).
