Cytotoxicity and immune response of CdSe/ZnS Quantum dots towards a murine macrophage cell line
Guimiao Lin,Zhangchi Ding,Rui Hu,Xiaomei Wang,Qiang Chen,Xiaomei Zhu,Kan Liu,Jinghua Liang,Fangqi Lu,Delin Lei,Gaixia Xu,Ken-Tye Yong +11 more
TL;DR: Results suggest that the treatment of CdSe/ZnS QDs is indeed affecting the cell viability of the macrophages but did not cause any obvious immune response changes in the cells.

Overexpression of human telomerase reverse transcriptase C-terminal polypeptide sensitizes HeLa cells to 5-fluorouracil‑induced growth inhibition and apoptosis
Guimiao Lin,Qiang Chen,Shuihong Yu,Suxia Lin,Hong Yao,Zhangchi Ding,Siping Chen,Marie Chia-mi Lin,Xiaomei Wang +8 more
TL;DR: The results suggest that hTERTC27 overexpression is a potential clinical strategy for enhancing the antitumor effect of 5‑FU chemotherapy in the treatment of cervical carcinoma.
In vivo toxicity assessment of non-cadmium quantum dots in BALB/c mice.
Guimiao Lin,Qingling Ouyang,Qingling Ouyang,Rui Hu,Zhangchi Ding,Jinglin Tian,Feng Yin,Gaixia Xu,Qiang Chen,Xiaomei Wang,Ken-Tye Yong +10 more
TL;DR: The results manifested that the QDs formulation did not result in observable toxicity in vivo within the evaluation period, thereby suggesting that the InP/ZnS QDs can be utilized as optical probes or nanocarrier for selected in vivo biological applications when an optimized dosage is employed.
