A Fast Algorithm for Image Defogging
Xiaoyan He,Jianxu Mao,Zewen Liu,Jiujiang Zhou,Yajing Hua +4 more
- 17 Nov 2014
TL;DR: The article proposes to increase the brightness of image before processing, and then estimates the global atmospheric value, the initial transmission rate and the haze density using morphology method, and substitutes into the simplified model to get the haze-free image.

Soft X-ray induced color-tunable long afterglow phosphors Ca9-xTb(PO4)7:xMn2+ based on Mn2+ modulation and energy transfer
Tongyan Lin,Zewen Liu,Naihui Chen,Runyao Liu,Jiaxu Zhang,Pengbo Cai,Weichao Meng,An Xie,Xiaoyan Fu,Hongwu Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: Researchers synthesized Ca9-xTb(PO4)7:xMn2+ phosphors with tunable long afterglow properties via Mn2+ modulation and energy transfer under X-ray excitation, exhibiting efficient energy transfer and excellent afterglow performance even at low-dose radiation.

From scintillator to phosphor: X-ray induced long afterglow red luminescence from Bi4Ge3O12:Eu3+
Zewen Liu,Tongyan Lin,Naihui Chen,Weichao Meng,Pengbo Cai,Runyao Liu,Xiaoyan Fu,Hongwu Zhang +7 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors designed a novel strategy to develop efficient X-ray-induced long afterglow luminescent materials from scintillator to phosphor, which showed that Bi4Ge3O12: Eu3+ can produce excellent x-ray induced red long-afterglow luminance which appeared at 589, 612, 655 and 705 nm corresponding to the 5D0→7Fj(j = 1,2,3,4) transitions, respectively.

Ultraviolet and visible persistent luminescence from Sr3MgSi2O8:Pr3+
Naihui Chen,Tongyan Lin,Zewen Liu,Runyao Liu,Jiaxu Zhang,Xiaoyan Fu,Hongwu Zhang +6 more
TL;DR: A low-dose X-ray induced long afterglow luminescent phosphor, Sr3MgSi2O8:Pr3+, exhibits bright visible and ultraviolet C, blue, and red lights with 5 s X-ray irradiation, producing 5400 s afterglow emission with 20 times background intensity at room temperature.
