Suitable MLP Network Activation Functions for Breast Cancer and Thyroid Disease Detection
Iza Sazanita Isa,Z. Saad,Saodah Omar,Muhammad Khusairi Osman,K. A. Ahmad,H.A. Mat Sakim +5 more
- 28 Sep 2010
TL;DR: This paper compared various MLP activation functions for classification problems and showed that the hyperbolic tangent function in MLP network had the capability to produce the highest accuracy for classifying breast cancer data and neuronal function is the most suitable function that performed the most accuracy inMLP network.

Weather Forecasting Using Photovoltaic System and Neural Network
Iza Sazanita Isa,Saodah Omar,Z. Saad,Norhayati Mohamad Noor,Muhammad Khusairi Osman +4 more
- 28 Jul 2010
TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrate that the applied technique gives better performance than the conventional ANN concept of choosing an MLP with least number of hidden neurons as compared to single MLP network.

Comparative study of PID controlled modes on automatic water level measurement system
Iza Sazanita Isa,Belinda Chong Chiew Meng,Z. Saad,Normasni Ad Fauzi +3 more
- 04 Mar 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, the performances of Proportional (P), proportional-integral (PI), and proportionalintegral-derivative (PID) modes controller to control an automatic water level control system were presented.
