Optimization of process parameters in flash pyrolysis of waste tyres to liquid and gaseous fuel in a fluidized bed reactor
TL;DR: In this article, shredded tyre particle size, feed rate, and pyrolysis temperature were varied systematically as per the designed experiment to study their influence on product yield to maximize the oil yield and subduing the gas and char yield.

Flash pyrolysis of jatropha oil cake in electrically heated fluidized bed reactor
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of particle size, pyrolysis temperature and nitrogen gas flow rate on the yield of jatropha oil cake have been investigated, and the maximum oil yield of 64.25 wt% was obtained at a nitrogen flow rate of 1.75 m(3)/h, particle size of 0.7-1.0 mm, and temperature of 500 degrees C.

A multi-variant approach to optimize process parameters for biodiesel extraction from rubber seed oil
TL;DR: In this article, the authors used the design of experiments (DOE) to optimize the process parameters through two-stage esterification process, relating acid and alkaline as catalyst, and quantified different saturated and unsaturated monoesters present in the biodiesel were quantified using gas chromatograph in order to determine the yield percentage.

An Extraction and Performance Analysis of Rubber Seed-Methyl Ester on an IC Engine at Various Compression Ratios
TL;DR: In this article, the viscosity was reduced in two stage esterification process by conducting planned sets of experiment and the process parameters were optimized to maximize the oil yield to supplement the increasing need for automobile fuels.
