Relative Gain Monitoring of the GlueX Calorimeters
E. G. Anassontzis,Pavlos Ioannou,Christine Kourkoumelis,G. Vasileiadis,G. Voulgaris,E. Kappos,T. D. Beattie,S.T. Krueger,G. J. Lolos,Z. Papandreou,A. Yu. Semenov,J. Frye,John P. Leckey,M. Shepherd,T. Bogart,D. Lawrence,Elton Smith +16 more
TL;DR: In this article, the relative gain of the photodetectors for the GlueX Barrel and Forward calorimeters was monitored using modular LED driver systems, which are currently being installed on the detectors and their tested performance is presented.

Methodology for the Determination of the Photon Detection Efficiency of Large-Area Multi-Pixel Photon Counters
TL;DR: In this paper, the photon detection efficiency of a group of first-article units at room temperature under conditions similar to those of the GlueX experiment was extracted by employing an analysis methodology based on Poisson statistics carried out on the summed energy signals.

TL;DR: In this paper, the response and quality of a random sample of 4750 Kuraray double-clad SCSF-78MJ scintillating fibres have been evaluated by employing a 373-nm UV LED to stimulate the fibres along their length and reading out the light using a spectrophotometer and a photodiode in order to extract the spectral response and the attenuation length.
