Beyond Surface: Correlating CuI /CuII and O-Vacancy Surface Sites in CuxO Nanocubes with Their Activities as Noble Metal-free Anodes for Fuel Cells
T Rosado,Roberto R. de Avillez,Yutao Xing,Guilhermo Solórzano,Augusto César Azevedo Silva,André H.B. Dourado,Clenilton Costa dos Santos,Vinícius W. Faria,Marco A. Fraga,Auro Atsuchi Tanaka,M. A. García,Anderson G. M. da Silva +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors demonstrate that the presence of crystalline defects and the relative concentration of CuI/CuII may also vary with the decrease of CuxO nanocubes sizes, contributing to the observed activities as noble metal-free anodes for methanol fuel cells.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used polyvinyl alcohol as a capping agent to obtain hybrid silica nanoparticles decorated with europium-doped gadolinium oxide (SiO2-Gd2O3:Eu3+) through the impregnation method.
Detection of traces of polymyxin B by “turn-on” type fluorescent reporters: the influence of the relative concentration of gold nanoparticles in a complex with rhodamine B
Elisângela Gomes de Lima Oliveira,Mário César Albuquerque de Oliveira,Yutao Xing,Glauco S. Maciel,Anderson Stevens Leônidas Gomes,H. P. de Oliveira +5 more
TL;DR: In this article , the detection of traces of polymyxin B from fluorescence resonant energy transfer systems based on pairs of rhodamine B (donor) and citrate-capped gold nanoparticles acceptors (Au NPs) was investigated.
