The evening complex integrates photoperiod signals to control flowering in rice
Luis Andrade,Yunlong Lu,André M. Cordeiro,J. M. Costa,Philip A. Wigge,Nelson J. M. Saibo,Katja E. Jaeger +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the evening complex of the circadian clock is found to be essential for the activation of rice evening complex, which is consistent with a key role for the EC in controlling flowering in many diverse species including soybean, barley, Brachypodium, and Arabidopsis.

Preparation and Characterization of High Mechanical Strength Chitosan/Oxidized Tannic Acid Composite Film with Schiff Base and Hydrogen Bond Crosslinking
TL;DR: In this paper , a chitosan/tannic acid (CTA) composite film with excellent mechanical and antibacterial properties was prepared using a tape casting method, and the results showed that, when 20% tannic acids (TA) was added, the tensile strength of the CTA composite film was 80.7 MPa, which was 89.4% higher than that of the pure chitosa-santosan (CS) film.
Fabrication of anti‐UV absorbing and antibacterial soybean protein isolate composite film modified with thyme and mangosteen peel extracts
TL;DR: In this article , a soybean protein isolate (SPI) composite film, a biodegradable natural polymer film, was prepared by tape casting method with Thyme (Thy) and mangosteen peel extracts (MPE) as antibacterial agents.

Characterization and antibacterial of soybean protein isolate composite film with carvacrol and walnut peel extract
Zhiyong Qin,Meiyi Zou,Kehao Fan,Yunlong Lu +3 more
TL;DR: The SPI/WPE5%/CV5% composite film exhibits high antibacterial and antioxidant activities, excellent UV-visible barrier properties, and improved thermal properties compared with the pure SPI film.
