Visual encryption technology becomes the latest research area in which a lot of scopes persist. Presently such a particular cryptosystem procedure is now used by numerous other countries around the world for the private transmission of formal records, financial documents, content visuals, digital voting, and so on. Visualization Cryptographic algorithms one of the protected methods of transferring pictures online. The main benefit of image encryption has been that it disguises peripheral vision with encrypt data secret data with no computation usually needed. In this work a hybrid visual cryptography method using a sigmoid function (HVMSF) for enhancing the security in gray images. HVMSF strategy utilizes a chaos framework to scramble pixel values as well as blocks while using the Modified Arnold Cat Map method (MACM) as well as the Henon Map method (HMM). The methodology includes a confusion procedure wherein the location of each image pixel is shuffled by utilizing MACM. The shuffling of image pixel leads to the creation of a subset pixel which will be protected for transmitting. This proposed HVMSF mainly tries to overcome the limitation of the previous approaches by applying sigmoid function in image feature space for contrast enhancement throughout the consequent source images. The experimental outcomes precisely show that the suggested strategy can further give additional effectiveness to ensure the protection of transmitting information out over previous techniques.

A Hybrid Visual Cryptography Method using Sigmoid Function for Security Enhancement in Gray Scale Images

Visual cryptography is a surfacing form of encryption that enables decryption through the use of human eyesight features. This paper covers the implementation of enhancing visual cryptography through quadratic anisotropic diffusion. The initial encryption algorithm takes RGB images and encrypts them into Black and White images. The proposed implementation is to take the output of the original algorithm, apply quadratic anisotropic diffusion to result in the output of a secret crypto image with added noise. The experimental results indicate that the implementation of quadratic anisotropic diffusion improved the overall encryption of the secret image without distorting or affecting the original image. The comparative analysis with related research work shows that the proposed algorithm achieves high level of image confidentiality.

Enhanced Visual Cryptography Using Quadratic Anisotropic Diffusion

Досліджуються існуючі підходи до забезпечення необхідного рівня інформаційної безпеки даних, що передаються в інформаційно-телекомунікаційних мережах спеціального призначення з позиції їх цілісності та конфіденційності. Аналізуються переваги та недоліки використання криптографічного підходу для забезпечення необхідного рівня інформаційної безпеки даних інформаційного ресурсу. Обґрунтовується використання стеганографічного напряму для організації скритого каналу передачі даних в інформаційно-телекомунікаційних мережах спеціального призначення для забезпечення розмежування доступу до секретних повідомлень в умовах збереження їх цілісності. Суть запропонованого підходу полягає у приховуванні самого факту існування секретної інформації в інформаційному ресурсі. Розробляється концептуальна модель організації скритого каналу передачі даних в інформаційно-телекомунікаційних мережах спеціального призначення, суть якої полягає у синтезі методів стеганографічного приховування та кластерного аналізу. Розробляється математична модель приховування секретних повідомлень, що передаються в інформаційно-телекомунікаційних мережах спеціального призначення для розмежування доступу до службової інформації в умовах збереження її цілісності. Суть моделі полягає у формуванні кластерів елементів за кількісною ознакою, в межах яких виконується стеганографічне перетворення. Формуються вимоги до кластерів, які пропонується використовувати для вбудовування секретного повідомлення, з позиції забезпечення необхідної пропускної спроможності скритого каналу передачі даних та зниження кореляційних зв’язків між елементами контейнера-результату та контейнера-оригіналу.

In recent years, neural networks and cryptographic schemes have come together in war and peace; a cross-impact that forms a dichotomy deserving a comprehensive review study. Neural networks can be used against cryptosystems; they can play roles in cryptanalysis and attacks against encryption algorithms and encrypted data. This side of the dichotomy can be interpreted as a war declared by neural networks. On the other hand, neural networks and cryptographic algorithms can mutually support each other. Neural networks can help improve the performance and the security of cryptosystems, and encryption techniques can support the confidentiality of neural networks. The latter side of the dichotomy can be referred to as the peace. There are, to the best of our knowledge, no current surveys that take a comprehensive look at the many ways neural networks are currently interacting with cryptography. This survey aims to fill that niche by providing an overview on the state of the cross-impact between neural networks and cryptography systems. To this end, this paper will highlight the current areas where progress is being made as well as the aspects where there is room for future research to be conducted.

The Dichotomy of Neural Networks and Cryptography: War and Peace

Visual cryptography schemes are developed for image security, where encryption is realized by distributing a secret image into shares and decryption is done only by stacking the shares. Human eyesight is usually used to evaluate the security and performance of visual cryptography schemes. However, objective criteria for visual cryptography schemes are not yet established. In this paper, by the aid of neural networks, we propose two criteria called encryption-inconsistency and decryption-consistency for evaluating the shares and the recovered images, respectively. We also implemented the experiments for two representatives of visual cryptography schemes by applying three popular convolutional neural networks (CNN) to adopt our proposed criteria.
