Recognizing multi-view objects with occlusions using a deep architecture
TL;DR: This approach constructs a multi-view shape model based on 3D objects by using an encode-decode deep learning network to represent the features and demonstrates that this approach can significantly improve the efficiency of feature representation and the performance of object recognition with occlusion.

- 20 Nov 2014
TL;DR: The noise in collected raw data is reduced by the KF in order to improve the quality of input data for fusion and the results show that the proposed method is effective for improving the precision of traffic state estimation.

Mining related information of traffic flows on lanes by k-medoids
Ting Zhang,Yingjie Xia,Qianqian Zhu,Yuncai Liu,Jianhui Shen +4 more
- 01 Aug 2014
TL;DR: The results indicate that cluster through combination of flow and degree of saturation has a higher efficiency, and cluster by k-medoids outperforms that byk-means in all experiments.
