Booster shot of inactivated SARS‐CoV‐2 vaccine induces potent immune responses in people living with HIV
Haoting Zhan,Huixia Gao,Yongmei Liu,Xi-hong Zhang,Haolong Li,Xiaomeng Li,Ling Wang,Chen Li,Beilei Li,Yuling Wang,Erhei Dai,Yongzhe Li +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the immunogenicity to SARS-CoV-2 and evasive subvariants BA.4/5 in people living with HIV (PLWH) following a third booster shot of inactivated SARS•CoV•2 vaccine.

CESSAT: A chemical additive-enhanced single-step accurate CRISPR/Cas13 testing system for field-deployable ultrasensitive detection and genotyping of SARS-CoV-2 variants of concern
Yunxiang Wang,Hong Chen,Huixia Gao,Hongjuan Wei,Yuling Wang,Kai Mu,Liyan Liu,Erhei Dai,Zhenghao Rong,Shengqi Wang +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a field-deployable ultrasensitive CRISPR-based diagnostics system, called Chemical additive-Enhanced Single-Step Accurate CRISpl/Cas13 Testing system (CESSAT), for simultaneous screening of SARS-CoV-2 and its five VOCs within 40 min was reported.

Diagnostic value and characteristic analysis of serum nucleocapsid antigen in COVID-19 patients
Xi-hong Zhang,Chungen Qian,Li Yang,Huixia Gao,Ping Jiang,Yuling Wang,Yi Xu,Q. Hu,Fumin Feng,Bangning Cheng,Erhei Dai +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the value of serum SARS-CoV-2 N-Ag for COVID-19 diagnosis and analyzed NAg characteristics in COVID19 individuals.
Omicron BA.4/5 neutralization and cell-mediated immune responses in relation to baseline immune status and breakthrough infection among PLWH: A follow-up cohort study.
Haoting Zhan,Yuchen Xie,Yongmei Liu,Linlin Cheng,Yi Xu,Xiaojing Qu,Chen Li,Xinru Guo,Haolong Li,Yuling Wang,Erhei Dai,Lijing Wang,Huixia Gao,Yongzhe Li +13 more
TL;DR: It is uncovered that hybrid immunity intensified more protection on BA.4/5 than vaccination did, and strengthened surveillance on immunological parameters and timely clinical intervention on PLWH deficient in protection would reduce the severity and mortality in the context of coexistence with new Omicron subvariants.
SIRT1 and insulin resistance.
TL;DR: Recent data indicate that activated SIRT1 improves the insulin sensitivity of liver, skeletal muscle and adipose tissues and protects the function and cell mass of pancreatic β-cells, suggesting that SIRT 1 might be a new therapeutic target for the prevention of disease related to insulin resistance, such as metabolic syndrome and type 2 diabetes mellitus.
