Expansion–compression variance-component-based autofocusing method for joint radar coincidence imaging and gain–phase error calibration
TL;DR: This work focuses on sparsity-driven RCI in the presence of gain–phase error and proposes an autocalibration expansion–compression variance-component (AC-ExCoV)-based autofocusing method in a sparse Bayesian learning framework with significant superiority in computational complexity.

A random phase compensation method for terahertz radar
Yanwen Jiang,Hongqiang Wang,Bin Deng,Yuliang Qin,Kang Liu +4 more
- 01 Oct 2016
TL;DR: Experimental results demonstrated that the proposed compensation method based on Bayesian compressive sensing can produce a relatively well-focused range profile of target in terms of various signal to noise ratio (SNR) levels.

Translation compensation and micro-Doppler extraction for precession ballistic targets with a wideband terahertz radar
TL;DR: In this article, a two-step translation compensation method based on envelope alignment is presented, the rough compensation is based on the traditional envelope alignment algorithm in inverse synthetic aperture radar imaging, and the fine compensation is supported by distance fitting.

Information geometric approach for nonlinear filtering
Yubo Li,Yongqiang Cheng,Xiang Li,Hongqiang Wang,Xiaoqiang Hua,Yuliang Qin +5 more
- 01 Jul 2017
TL;DR: This paper considers the nonlinear filtering by using information geometric approach, where the non linear characteristic has been convert to the Riemannian metric tensor, and the Bayesian estimation has been obtained by the natural gradient descent technique.
