Another case of respiratory syncytial virus-related limbic encephalitis
TL;DR: The medical records of 3,856 patients, diagnosed with respiratory syncytial (RS) virus bronchiolitis, were reviewed and three cases of RS virus-related encephalitis were identified, including the first reported case of RSirus-related limbicEncephalitis, where anti-N-methyl-Daspartate receptor (NMDAR) antibodies were detected.

TL;DR: The genotyped the HLA‐B locus from 14 Japanese typical and atypical SJS/TEN patients in whom carbamazepine was considered to be involved in the onset of adverse reactions and suggested that HLA·B*1511, a member of HLA•B75, is a risk factor for carbamazepsine‐induced SJS /TEN in Japanese.
