Applications of Terahertz Spectroscopy in the Detection and Recognition of Substances
TL;DR: In this paper , a review of the research progress of terahertz spectroscopic techniques for the detection and recognition of substances is presented, where metamaterials are also investigated for the applications in teraspectroscopic detection and classification of substances.
Design, Synthesis, and Biological Evaluation of Polyaminocarboxylate Ligand-Based Theranostic Conjugates for Antibody-Targeted Cancer Therapy and Near-Infrared Optical Imaging.
Siyuan Ren,Xiang Sun,Haixing Wang,Trung Hai Nguyen,Negar Sadeghipour,Xiaochun Xu,Chi Soo Kang,Yujie Liu,Hua Xu,Ningjie Wu,Yanda Chen,Kenneth M. Tichauer,David D. L. Minh,Hyun-Soon Chong +13 more
TL;DR: The therapeutic conjugate was capable of significantly inhibiting tumor growth, leading to nearly complete disappearance of tumors in the mice, and the novel ligand‐based therapeutic and theranostic conjugates for targeted iron chelation cancer therapy and imaging applications support further evaluation.
ReDisX, a machine learning approach, rationalizes rheumatoid arthritis and coronary artery disease patients uniquely upon identifying subpopulation differentiation markers from their genomic data
H. Yip,Debajyoti Chowdhury,Kexin Wang,Yujie Liu,Yao Gao,Liang Lan,Chaochao Zheng,Daogang Guan,Kei Fong Lam,Hailong Zhu,Xue Cheng Tai,Aiping Lu +11 more
TL;DR: The ReDisX framework offers a novel strategy to redefine disease diagnosis through characterizing personalized genomic signatures and may rejuvenate the landscape of precision and personalized diagnosis and a clue to drug repurposing.

Uncovering Hidden Mechanisms of Different Prescriptions Treatment for Osteoporosis via Novel Bioinformatics Model and Experiment Validation
Yujie Liu,Qinwen Liu,Chua Kai Yin,Yi Li,Jie Wu,Quanlin Chen,Hailang Yu,Aiping Lu,Daogang Guan +8 more
TL;DR: A new bioinformatics model based on random walk, optimized programming, and information gain is designed to analyze the components and targets to figure out the Functional Response Motifs (FRMs) of different prescriptions for the therapy of OP and shows that the relevance score and the number of reported evidence of high reliable genes in FRMs were higher than those of the pathogenic genes of OP.
Novel Chelating Agents for Zirconium-89-Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Imaging: Synthesis, DFT Calculation, Radiolabeling, and In Vitro and In Vivo Complex Stability
Chi Soo Kang,Shuyuan Zhang,Haixing Wang,Yujie Liu,Siyuan Ren,Yanda Chen,Jingbai Li,Nilantha Bandara,Andrey Yu. Rogachev,Buck E. Rogers,Hyun-Soon Chong +10 more
TL;DR: The synthesis and evaluation of novel chelating agents for zirconium-89 (89Zr) with positron emission tomography (PET) imaging applications are reported and NODHA was found to form stronger bonds with Zr(IV) when compared to NOTHA and N ODHA-PY, and NodHA-NODHA showed the highest stability in human serum without losing 89Zr.
