Saturation efficiency for detecting 1550 nm photons with a 2 × 2 array of Mo 0.8 Si 0.2 nanowires at 2.2 K
Feiyan Li,Hang Han,Qi Chen,Biao Zhang,Han Bao,Yue Dai,Rui Ge,Shuya Guo,Guanglong He,Yue Fei,S.Z. Yang,Xiaohan Wang,Hui Wang,Xiaoqing Jia,Qing-Yuan Zhao,Labao Zhang,Lin Kang,Peiheng Wu +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a superconducting nanowire single-photon detector (SNSPD) based on the amorphous Mo0.8Si0.2 film with a high optical absorption coefficient demonstrates close-to-unity intrinsic detection efficiency for 1550nm photons from 75mK to 2.2k.

Design and fabrication of superconducting single-photon detector operating in 5—10 μm wavelength band
Qi Chen,Yue Dai,Feiyan Li,Biao Zhang,Haochen Li,Jing Tan,Xiaohan Wang,Guanghong He,Yue Fei,Haiyan Wang,Labao Zhang,Lin Kang,Jian Chen,Peiheng Wu +13 more
TL;DR: In this article , a detector with an operating wavelength band of 5-10 μm is designed and fabricated, and the authors show that the multiplication and diffusion behaviors of quasiparticles always occur during the photon detection events, although the microscopic photodetection mechanism of superconducting nanowire still lacks a perfect theoretical explanation.
All-fiber device for single-photon detection
Yue Dai,Kunpeng Jia,Guang Hao Zhu,Hui Li,Yue Fei,Yuqing Guo,Hang Yuan,Haiyan Wang,Xiaoqing Jia,Qingyuan Zhao,Lin Kang,Jian Chen,Shining Zhu,Peiheng Wu,Zhenda Xie,Labao Zhang +15 more
TL;DR: In this article , a scheme of single-photon detectors (SPDs) that is directly fabricated on the fiber tip is presented. But it is not suitable for all-fiber quantum information systems.
