Process for purifying low molecular weight hydridosilanes
Nicole Dr. Brausch,Goetz Baumgarten,Guido Stochniol,Yücel Önal,Martin Trocha +4 more
- 09 Oct 2009
TL;DR: In this paper, a process for purifying low molecular weight hydridosilane solutions is described, in which a solution to be purified comprising a mixture of a low-molecular-weight hydrido-silane, a solvent, and at least one impurity selected from the group of the compounds having at least 20 silicon atoms and/or the homogeneous catalyst systems is subjected to a crossflow membrane process with at least 1 membrane separation step using a permeation membrane.

Flow tube reactor for converting silicon tetrachloride to trichlorosilane
Guido Stochniol,Günter Latoschinski,Yücel Önal,Ingo Pauli,Alfons Bieker +4 more
- 15 Dec 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for converting silicon tetrachloride having hydrogen to trichlorosilane in a hydrodechlorination reactor is described, which is operated under pressure and comprises one or more reactor tubes which are made of a ceramic material.

Patent
"closed loop" method for producing trichlorosilane from metallurgical silicon
Yücel Önal,Rainer Malzkorn,Ingo Pauli,Ingrid Lunt-Rieg,Guido Stochniol +4 more
- 16 Dec 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, a multistage method for producing trichlorosilane and silicon tetrachloride from metallurgical silicon is described, in which, in the first step, trichchlorosilanes and silicon trachlorides are produced from metheoric silicon, and, in a second step, the silicon is further processed to form the end product trich chlorosilene.

Use of a reactor having an integrated heat exchanger in a method for hydrodechlorinating silicon tetrachloride
Günter Latoschinski,Yücel Önal,Jörg Sauer,Guido Stochniol,Ingo Pauli +4 more
- 13 Jul 2011
TL;DR: In this article, a method for converting silicon tetrachloride by means of hydrogen to form trichlorosilane in a modified hydrodechlorination reactor is described.
