Dynamic enclose cell routing in mobile sensor networks
Yuan Yang,Dong-Hyun Lee,Myong-Soon Park,Hoh Peter In +3 more
- 30 Nov 2004
TL;DR: This paper proposes dynamic enclose cell (DEC) routing algorithm to decrease the overhead of routing by constructing the cells with sensor nodes, which is expected to decrease overheads and retain stable networks in high mobility.

TASL: A Traffic-Adapted Sleep/Listening MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Network
TL;DR: The evaluation result indicates that the proposed TASL-MAC protocol could explicitly reduce packet delivery latency, and that it could also significantly prolong the lifetime of the entire network when traffic is low.
An energy-efficient uni-scheduling based on S-MAC in wireless sensor network
Tae-Seok Lee,Yuan Yang,Ki-Jeong Shin,Myong-Soon Park +3 more
- 21 Sep 2005
TL;DR: This paper suggested a method for unifying schedules through the H- SYNC (Heartbeat-SYNC) method for solving such problem of the diversified scheduling of S-MAC, and it was found that the border node consumed energy less.

A SMS based ubiquitous home care system
Tae-Seok Lee,Yuan Yang,Myong-Soon Park +2 more
- 21 Sep 2005
TL;DR: Control message protocol for SMS-HCS can make a family member to monitor inside-home environment, control home through home network, and it provides security and safety service which can alarm emergency situation immediately.

Adapted listening in wireless sensor network MAC protocol
Zhen Fu,Yuan Yang,Tae-Seok Lee,Myong-Soon Park +3 more
- 03 Sep 2006
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an adapted listening mechanism to adaptively and dynamically adjust the duty listening time based on traffic load, which can achieve more power efficiency in low traffic load and much less transmission latency compared to existing MAC protocols.
