Quantum-dot-sensitized solar cells: Assembly of CdS-quantum-dots coupling techniques of self-assembled monolayer and chemical bath deposition
TL;DR: In this article, two methods, self-assembled monolayer and chemical bath deposition (CBD), were utilized to assemble cadmium sulfide quantum dots (CdS) onto mesoporous TiO2 films for dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) applications.
Preparation and properties of hybrid water-based suspension of Al2O3 nanoparticles and MEPCM particles as functional forced convection fluid
TL;DR: In this article, a hybrid water-based suspension of Al2O3 nanoparticles and microencapsulated phase change material (n-eicosane) particles was prepared as a functional forced convection fluid and the thermal properties of the resulting ternary suspension including the density, specific heat, thermal conductivity, latent heat of fusion, and dynamic viscosity were investigated experimentally.

Removal of copper ions and dissolved phenol from water using micellar-enhanced ultrafiltration with mixed surfactants ☆
TL;DR: It was found that for mixed sodium dodecylsulfate (SDS)/Triton X-100 surfactants, the critical micelle concentration was significantly lower than that of SDS and mixed micelles formed, which suggests that the rejection of Cu2+ was due to the electrostatic attraction betweenCu2+ and SDS.

Preparation of silica microspheres encapsulating phase-change material by sol-gel method in O/W emulsion
TL;DR: The results of this synthesis revealed that micron size silica microspheres encapsulating n-pentadecane can be successfully created from acidic solutions by using cationic surfactants as the emulsifiers.
