Adsorption of benzene vapor on natural silicate clay minerals under different moisture contents and binary mineral mixtures
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the adsorption capacity of benzene vapor on natural silicate clay minerals (smectite, illite, chlorite and kaolinite) under different temperatures, moisture contents and mineral mixtures.

Reactive transport modeling of long-term CO 2 sequestration mechanisms at the Shenhua CCS demonstration project, China
TL;DR: In this paper, a 2D radial model was used to investigate the fate of the injected CO2, the effect of CO2-water-rock interactions on mineral alteration, and the long-term CO2 sequestration mechanisms of the Liujiagou Formation sandstone at the Shenhua CCS (carbon capture and storage) pilot site of China.

Adsorption and desorption of uranium(VI) onto humic acids derived from uranium-enriched lignites.
TL;DR: The desorption experiments revealed that the sorption mechanism was controlled by the complex interactions between the organic ligands of the HAs and uranium(VI), and showed that HAs derived from uranium-enriched lignites may present a potential environmental risk when used in acidic conditions.
