Mg doped CuO–Fe2O3 composites activated by persulfate as highly active heterogeneous catalysts for the degradation of organic pollutants
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of Mg doping improved the catalytic performance of CuO-Fe2O3 for phenol degradation as the removal efficiency of phenol reached up to 84.36% within 45min using 3.2% Mg doped CuO -Fe 2O3 when coupled with persulfate (PS) system.

Sascha Gerhardt,Fang Zhu,sari rahmatin,Qiuyue Ji,Lionel Pabion,Yu Lei,Jianfeng Ma,Qixing Xiao,Yan Yang,Sridhar Komarneni +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, a core shell CoFe2O4-CeO2 (CoFeCe) nanocomposite was designed and synthesized by a facile hydrothermal reaction followed by calcination and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), TEM, ultraviolet-visible diffuse reflectance spectroscopy (UV-Vis DRS), and vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM).

Fe–Co-SBA assisted by visible light can effectively activate NaHSO3 or H2O2 for enhanced degradation of Orange II: Activation of NaHSO3 versus H2O2
TL;DR: In this paper, the role of some significant parameters on the degradation of Orange Ⅱ in two different visible light assisted heterogeneous photocatalytic systems (BS (bisulfite)/FeCo-SBA (Fe-Co-Santa Barbara amorphous material)/Vis and H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide)/Fe Co SBA/Vis) was investigated separately and compared.

Degradation of Orange II by Fe2O3 and CeO2 nanocomposite when assisted by NaHSO3
TL;DR: In this article, Fe2O3@CeO2 nanocomposites were synthesized by water bath heating method to activate NaHSO3 for Orange II dye degradation, which reached up to 98.2% within 120min.
