Enhanced magnetic softness of surface-crystallized Fe-Si-B-Nb-Mo-Cu amorphous alloys via competitive growth of surface pre-crystals/clusters
TL;DR: In this article, the deterioration of magnetic softness caused by surface crystallization is a common problem in Fe-based amorphous and nanocrystalline alloys, and it is shown that surface crystallisation of Fe76Si13B8Nb2-xMoxCu1 has negligible effects on the onset precipitation temperature, nucleation, and growth activation energy of α-Fe(Si) phase.

High-frequency magnetic characteristics and operating thermal stability of industrialized Fe76Si13B8Nb2Cu1 nanocrystalline alloy
Cao Yi,Cao Yi,Fuyao Yang,Jiawei Li,Aina He,Anding Wang,Huiyun Xiao,Yaqiang Dong,Xincai Liu,Bojun Zhang,Yu Han +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, an industrial nanocrystalline alloy with Bs of 1.39 T and a core loss of 179 KW/m3 at 0.2 T and 100 KW /m3 was presented, which is slightly higher than that of the commercially applied Fe73.5Si13.5B9Nb3Cu1 alloys.
