Patent
Method and radio node for controlling change of communication mode
Alireza Nejatian,Youping Su +1 more
- 21 Dec 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, a radio node has at least two parallel branches (504, 06) for transmission and reception of radio signals, wherein the branches currently operate in a first communication mode, and it can be discovered when one of the branches is misaligned or otherwise faulty and suitable actions can be taken for repairing or replacing the faulty branch.

Calibration coupleing unit, ccu, and a method therein for enabling calibration of base station
Chunhui Zhang,Fredrik Huss,Youping Su +2 more
- 12 Jun 2012
TL;DR: In this article, a calibration coupling unit, CCU, and a method for enabling calibration of a base station is presented, which is connected to the base station by means of radio branch feeder cables carrying uplink and downlink transmissions to/from the Base Station.

Method, base station and apparatus in a base station for reducing intermodulation distortion
Youping Su,Alireza Nejatian,Fredrik Huss +2 more
- 24 May 2012
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method in a base station for reducing distortion of an uplink signal received in a receiver part (20) of the base station, said distortion being caused by intermodulation, IM, products.

Method and apparatus for controlling performance in a radio node
Alireza Nejatian,Youping Su +1 more
- 08 Sep 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, a TDD radio node (600) having multiple parallel branches (604, 606) and antennas (604a and 606a) for radio transmission of signals propagating through a transmit chain in each of the branches before emission from the antennas is considered.

Method and radio network node for controlling transmission of signals from the radio network node
Alireza Nejatian,Youping Su +1 more
- 21 Sep 2012
TL;DR: In this article, a radio network node in a wireless communication network, arranged for controlling transmission of signals from the radio node, consisting of a transmitter (10) having a power amplifier (12), and a radio node further comprising: a measuring unit (202), for measuring, on a signal to be transmitted from the Radio Network Node, a level of out-of-band emissions, after the signal having been amplified by the power amplifier; a detection unit (204) for detecting a difference, D, between the measured level of OBE and a pre-defined OBE threshold
