An oral care implement is provided having a handle and a head with tooth cleaning elements extending from fixed pods. Additional tooth cleaning elements extend from one or more central pods suspended between the fixed pods via a bridge. The bridge may be formed from an elastomer and permit the one or more central pods to move from an initial position toward the head during use. The central pods, the bridge and outer portions of the fixed pods may be formed as a unitary structure. When a single central pod is employed, a flexible section may be disposed in the middle of the central pod so that cleaning elements extending from either end of the central pod can move toward one another during use.

Further, the method includes the steps of repeating (S3) the transmitting and receiving step for at least a subset of all combinations of antenna elements of the antenna, wherein each combination of antenna elements comprises antenna elements has a same or different polarization, and subsequently comparing (S4) the received representations of the measurement signal between different combinations of antenna elements, and estimating (S5) at least a respective phase difference between antenna elements with the same polarization based on the comparison. Finally, the method includes the step of calibrating (S6) transmit and/or receive paths of antenna elements with the same polarization based on the estimated phase difference.

Method and arrangement for phase calibration of transmit and/or receive paths of an antenna array

The present disclosure provides a radio unit with internal parallel antenna calibration. The radio unit comprises an antenna calibrator, a plurality of transmission signal processing sections, a plurality of power amplifiers, a plurality of bandpass filters, a plurality of couplers, a plurality of reception signal processing sections and a first combiner. The antenna calibrator is configured to generate a plurality of individually identifiable reference signals used for transmission calibration. The transmission signal processing sections are configured to modulate the signals in parallel. The power amplifiers are configured to amplify the modulated signals to predetermined power levels in parallel. The bandpass filters are configured to apply bandpass filtering operations to the modulated signals in parallel. The couplers are configured to couple the filtered signals to a first combiner, which combines the filtered signals. One of the reception signal processing sections is configured to identify and demodulate each of the filtered signals constituting the combined signals. The antenna calibrator is further configured to compute transmission calibration vectors by comparing the demodulated signals with the reference signals.

When it is determined that the first communication mode has not been turned off in a faulty branch, e.g. by not receiving an indication signal in time from that branch,the first mode is disabled in the faulty branch, and/or the faulty branch is reported to a supervision centre (510). Thereby, it can be discovered when one of the branches is misaligned or otherwise faulty and suitable actions can be taken for repairing or replacing the faulty branch.

The method in the CCU comprises receiving (110) at least one calibration signal from the RU on at least one radio branch feeder cable of the CCU; and converting (130) the calibration signal to a receiving frequency band of the RU. The method further comprises providing (140) the converted signal to the RU via at least one of the radio branch feeder cables, thereby enabling calibration of the Base Station.

The method comprises: generating (106), from a transmitter source signal, a modeled signal of IM components, as n th order IM components of the transmitter source signal, n being an integer value of 2, 3, 4 and/or 5 etc., and detecting (1 10) IM products of the received uplink signal, the received uplink signal comprising UL traffic components and the IM products, by correlating the received uplink signal with the IM components of the modeled signal. The method further comprises producing (1 12) a cancellation signal based on the detected IM products of the received uplink signal, and subtracting (1 14) the cancellation signal from the received uplink signal. Also, a similar apparatus in a base station is provided.

Method and apparatus for controlling performance in a TDD radio node (600) having multiple parallel branches (604, 606) and antennas (604a, 606a) for radio transmission of signals propagating through a transmit chain in each of the branches before emission from the antennas. A signal generator (602a) generates a signal that propagates through each branch, and tapping means (608) taps the signal from each of the branches after the transmit chain. A control unit (610) then determines a timing of the tapped signal from each of the branches, and monitors timing alignment of the branches based on the determined timing of tapped signals. If it is discovered that there is a timing misalignment between the branches which exceeds a preset acceptable limit, a transmission delay can be adjusted for at least one of the branches to reduce the misalignment.

The present disclosure relates to a radio network node in a wireless communication network, arranged for controlling transmission of signals from the radio network node, the radio network node comprising a transmitter (10) having a power amplifier (12), the radio network node further comprising: a measuring unit (202), for measuring, on a signal to be transmitted from the radio network node, a level of out-of band emissions, after the signal to be transmitted has been amplified by the power amplifier; a detection unit (204) for detecting a difference, D, between the measured level of out-of-band emissions and a pre-defined out-of-band emission threshold; and a control unit (206) for adapting characteristics of the transmitter based on the detected difference D, such that the level of out-of-band emissions does not exceed the predefined out-of-band emission threshold. The disclosure also relates to a similar method performed by a radio network node.
