Cooperative effects of zeolite mesoporosity and defect sites on the amount and location of coke formation and its consequence in deactivation
TL;DR: In this paper, the mesopore generation and annealing of internal silanols in zeolites were investigated in n-pentane aromatization using model Ga/ZSM-5 catalysts.

Statistical Modeling of Electrochemical Removal of Sodium in Fermented Food Composts
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used response surface methodology (RSM) to model the relationship between the operating variables (operation time, current density and water contents) and three responses (removal efficiency, energy expenditure and energy efficiency).
Effects of secondary mesoporosity and zeolite crystallinity on catalyst deactivation of ZSM-5 in propanal conversion
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of secondary mesoporosity and microporosity on the deactivation of ZSM-5 was investigated during propanal conversion, and the results indicated that the generation of large mesoporeosity (enhancing the diffusion of coke precursors) while keeping the zeolite crystallinity intact (suppressing coke formation by shape-selectivity) is highly desirable for designing a zeolinite catalyst with an enhanced catalyst lifetime.
