Liquid Film Thickness in Micro-Scale Two-Phase Flow
Naoki Shikazono,Youngbae Han +1 more
- 26 Sep 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of bubble length on the liquid film thickness in micro-scale two-phase flows and found that the ratio of bubble velocity to mean velocity approaches an asymptotic value of 0.55.
Fabrication of electrolyte-supported solid oxide fuel cells using a tape casting process
Youngjin Kwon,Youngbae Han +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a simple de-airing technique is used to simplify the production process and an electrolytes-supported solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC) is produced without employing a buffer or functional layers.

Measurement of liquid film thickness on moving plate during dip-coating process
Youngbae Han,Yang Ho Na +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a laser focus displacement meter is used to measure the liquid film thickness and a comparison of the profiles of dimensionless liquid-film thickness has been made, showing that as the withdrawal speed increases, the profile becomes more convex and at a capillary number higher than 0.1, the profiles are consistent within a certain range.

Liquid film thicknesses of oscillating slug flows in a capillary tube
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors measured the liquid film thickness of oscillating slug flow in a capillary tube under adiabatic condition and found that the film thickness becomes thinner or thicker under flow acceleration or deceleration, respectively.
