TL;DR: It was found that the aqueous extract of Mori Fructus is a new TLR4 activator, which induces a Th1 immune response as a consequence of induction of cytokines secretion, especially TNF‐α and IFN‐γ.

Involvement of heme oxygenase-1 induction in inhibitory effect of ethyl gallate isolated from Galla Rhois on nitric oxide production in RAW 264.7 macrophages.
TL;DR: Results indicate that EG isolated from Galla Rhois suppresses NO production in LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages via HO-1 induction, suggesting thatHO-1 is, at least in part, implicated in the inhibition of NO production induced by EG treatment.

Protective effect of jakyak-gamcho-tang extract and its constituents against t-BHP-induced oxidative damage in HT22 cells.
TL;DR: It is suggested that PR acts as an antioxidant and this property may contribute to the neuroprotective activity of JGT extract.

Tribuli fructus constituents protect against tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells
TL;DR: Two compounds isolated from the H2O extract of Tribuli Fructus showed significant hepatoprotective activities, with EC50 values of 13.46 ± 0.2 and 7.06 μM, respectively, against tacrine-induced cytotoxicity in HepG2 cells.
