Effect of Three Major Polyphenols in Red Wine on Sodium Channel Current in Mouse Dorsal Root Ganglia Cells
TL;DR: In this article, patch-clamp test was employed in order to examine the effect of three major polyphenols, quercetin, resveratrol, and catechin, extracted from red wine on sodium channel currents in mouse dorsal root ganglia cells.

Dynamic Q factor control of photonic crystal nanocavities
Yoshimasa Tanaka,Jeremy Upham,Takushi Nagashima,Tomoaki Sugiya,Taku Asano,Susumu Noda +5 more
- 01 Oct 2007
TL;DR: In this paper, a dynamic Q factor control of a two-dimensional photonic crystal nanocavity is demonstrated, where the Q factor is dynamically changed from 3,000 to 12,000 on a picosecond time-scale.

Screening and Synthesis of Tetrazole Derivatives that Inhibit the Growth of Cryptococcus Species.
Nana Nakada,Taiga Miyazaki,Satoshi Mizuta,Tatsuro Hirayama,Seiko Nakamichi,Kohsuke Takeda,Hiroshi Mukae,Shigeru Kohno,Yoshimasa Tanaka +8 more
TL;DR: In this article , a tetrazole derivative was identified as an efficient inhibitor of Cryptococcus neoformans and Cryptoccus gattii and determined their structure-activity relationship, which provided a starting point for novel target identification and structural optimization for patients with cryptococcosis.
