Thiosemicarbazone derivatives of nickel and copper: the unprecedented coordination of furan ring in octahedral nickel(II) and of triphenylphosphine in three-coordinate copper(I) complexes.
Tarlok S. Lobana,Poonam Kumari,Rekha Sharma,Alfonso Castiñeiras,Ray J. Butcher,Takashiro Akitsu,Yoshikazu Aritake +6 more
TL;DR: The simultaneous presence of methyl groups at the C(2) and N(1) atoms of 2-acetylthiophene-N(1)-methylthiosemicarbazone (HattscN-Me) have facilitated the binding of triphenylphosphine in three-coordinate copper(i) halide complexes, which represent an unusual donor set of ligands, namely, triphensylph phosphine, sulfur of a thio-ligand and

Polarized spectroscopy and hybrid materials of chiral Schiff base Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) complexes with included or separated azo-groups
TL;DR: In this article, the optical anisotropy of chiral Schiff base complexes and azobenzene (AZ) were compared for comparison of polarized UV light induced molecular arrangement caused by Weigert effect.

Thiosemicarbazonates of palladium(II): The presence of methyl/phenyl substituents (R2) at C2 carbon atom induces C–H activation of R1 rings of thiosemicarbazones {R1R2C2N3–N2H–C1(S)–N1HR3}
Tarlok S. Lobana,Poonam Kumari,Ray J. Butcher,Takashiro Akitsu,Yoshikazu Aritake,Josefina Perles,Francisco J. Fernández,M. Cristina Vega +7 more
TL;DR: A series of palladium(II) complexes involving C-H and N-H bond activations of the R1 rings of thiosemicarbazones was described in this article.

Heterocyclic thioamide derivatives of coinage metals (Cu, Ag): Synthesis, structures and spectroscopy
Razia Sultana,Tarlok S. Lobana,Renu Sharma,Alfonso Castiñeiras,Takashiro Akitsu,Kenichi Yahagi,Yoshikazu Aritake +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the first 3D polymers of 2,4-dithiouracil in its coordination chemistry with metal salts have been characterized using analytical data, IR and multinuclear NMR spectroscopy (1H, 13C and 31P).

The role of chiral dopants in organic/inorganic hybrid materials containing chiral Schiff base Ni(II), Cu(II) and Zn(II) complexes
TL;DR: In this article, a comparison of polarized UV light induced molecular arrangement caused by the Weigert effect was performed on chiral Schiff base complexes with and without azo-groups, and the results indicated that the degree of increasing optical anisotropy of the containing type was higher than that of the separated type.
