A valve spool movably arranged in a spool hole axially extended in a shaft that supports the hydraulic pump and the hydraulic motor is configured by coupling a first spool member provided with a guide land fitted in a guide member and a second spool member provided with a central land and a left land and provided with a valve that connects and cuts off a clutch oil passage on the high pressure side and a clutch oil passage on the low pressure side according to axial movement by a coupling pin.

An electric linear motion actuator includes planetary rollers mounted between the radially inner surface of an outer ring member and the radially outer surface of a rotary shaft, and a carrier rotatable about the rotary shaft and including radially movable roller shafts rotatably supporting the respective planetary rollers. Elastic rings each having circumferentially separate ends are each wrapped around the roller shafts to radially inwardly bias the roller shafts, thereby bringing the respective planetary rollers into elastic contact with the radially outer surface of the rotary shaft. Each elastic ring is prevented from rotating relative to the roller shafts, thereby preventing one of the roller shafts from being axially aligned with the gap between the circumferential separate ends, causing the elastic ring to be radially compressed and thus making it impossible for the elastic rings to radially bias the roller shafts.

The spool is movable, until the pressure of oil in the hydraulic chamber and the force of the spring are balanced, successively from a first position in which the supply oil passage and the closed hydraulic circuit are disconnected and the supply oil passage and the oil tank are disconnected, to a second position in which the supply oil passage and the closed hydraulic circuit are connected, to a third position in which the supply oil passage and the oil tank are connected, in response to an increase in the pressure of oil in the hydraulic chamber.

CONSTITUTION:An electric motor in a speed change driving gear and both solenoids 1151, 1152 of a speed change auxiliary device connect an electronic control unit 151 for controlling the action of these above. This electronic control unit 151 has a detecting part 152 for detecting the running condition of a vehicle, logical control part 153 determining a speed change control condition in accordance with the detection signal of said detecting part 152 and a driving control part 154 outputting an operation signal in accordance with an output of the logical control part 153. And the speed change control condition is determined in the logical control part 153 in accordance with the detection signal of the detecting part 152, but the speed change control condition, which changes if a speed change map in said logical control part is changed to be set, enables a speed change control, based on various requirements of the driver, to be performed.
