Evidence for field enhanced electron capture by EL2 centers in semi‐insulating GaAs and the effect on GaAs radiation detectors
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed an explanation for the discrepancy based on enhanced capture of electrons by EL2 centers at high electric fields and the resulting formation of a quasineutral region in the GaAs.

Light weight gamma-camera head and gamma-camera assemblies containing it
Yosef Eisen,Chaim Gilat,Giora Keinan +2 more
- 10 Jun 1994
TL;DR: A light weight gamma-camera head and assemblies and kits which embody it is described in this article. But the gamma camera head has a detector assembly which includes an array of room temperature, solid state spectroscopy grade detectors each associated with a collimator and preamplifier, arranged in parallel rows extending in a first direction and suitably spaced from each other in a second direction normal to said first direction, each of the parallel detector rows holding a plurality of detectors.

Present status of undoped semi-insulating LEC bulk GaAs as a radiation spectrometer
TL;DR: In this article, the results of an experimental program studying the properties of detectors fabricated from bulk LEC GaAs are summarized and compared with measured results, and the limitations of the material as a material for radiation spectrometers are discussed.
Development of bulk GaAs room temperature radiation detectors
Douglas S. McGregor,Glenn F. Knoll,Yosef Eisen,R. Brake +3 more
- 02 Nov 1991
TL;DR: In this article, various configurations of Schottky diode detectors were fabricated with bulk crystals of liquid encapsulated Czochralski (LEC) semi-insulating undoped GaAs material.

Bulk GaAs room temperature radiation detectors
TL;DR: In this article, Schottky diode detectors were fabricated from LEC bulk GaAs crystals and the basic construction of these diodes employed the use of a Ti/Au Schittky contact and a Au/Ge/Ni alloyed ohmic contact.
