Epigallocatechin-3-gallate Protects against Hydrogen Peroxide-Induced Inhibition of Osteogenic Differentiation of Human Bone Marrow-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cells.
TL;DR: The results suggested that EGCG can reduce the effects of oxidative stress on Wnt pathway in osteogenic cells, which supported a potentially promising therapy of bone disorders induced by oxidative stress.
Modified Ilioinguinal Approach to Treat Pelvic or Acetabular Fractures: A Retrospective Study.
Yongliang Yang,Qinghu Li,Haomin Cui,Zhenhai Hao,Yonghui Wang,Jian’an Liu,Lianxin Li,Dongsheng Zhou +7 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the modified ilioinguinal approach is a simple and minimally invasive approach for anterior column acetabular fractures and pubic rami fractures comparing with the standard ilio linguinal approach.

Resveratrol Synergistically Promotes BMP9-Induced Osteogenic Differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells
TL;DR: It is confirmed that resveratrol synergistically enhanced the BMP9-induced bone formation function and phosphorylated adenosine monophosphate- (AMP-) activated protein kinase (AMPK) and stimulated autophagy.
SV40 large T antigen-induced immortalization reprograms mouse cardiomyocyte progenitors with mesenchymal stem cell characteristics and osteogenic potential
Yichun Yu,Jiamin Zhong,Connie Chen,Yannian Gou,Guozhi Zhao,Piao Zhao,Yonghui Wang,Wenjun Zeng,Annie Wang,William D. Wagstaff,Rex C. Haydon,Tong-Chuan He,Russell R. Reid,Michael J Lee,Hue H. Luu,Jiaming Fan +15 more
TL;DR: It was shown that induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) could be established from somatic fibroblasts by simultaneous introduction of the four transcription factors OCT4, KLF4, SOX2, and C-MYC, and that reduced p53 expression facilitated reprogramming process, and hypothesized that SV40LTA-mediated immortalization may at least partially resemble the reprograming phenomenon.

Zhou Dongsheng,Yonghui Wang,Bomin Wang,Li Lianxin,Zhenhai Hao +4 more
- 05 Apr 2006
TL;DR: In this article, a longitudinal regulating skull traction bow, which belongs to medical equipment, is described in the utility model, which consists of two tong bodies which are mutually hinged into an opening tong shape, and an opening adjusting mechanism.
