Increasing Solar Absorption of Atomically Thin 2D Carbon Nitride Sheets for Enhanced Visible-Light Photocatalysis.
Yong Wang,Peipei Du,Hongzhe Pan,Lin Fu,Yu Zhang,Jie Chen,Youwei Du,Nujiang Tang,Gang Liu,Gang Liu +9 more
TL;DR: This approach can greatly increase the visible-light absorption of CNS by extending the absorption edge up to 578 nm and can introduce cyano groups into the framework of CNS as well as the accompanied nitrogen vacancies at the edges, which leads to both narrowing the bandgap and changing the charge distribution.

Azo-Branched Covalent Organic Framework Thin Films as Active Separators for Superior Sodium-Sulfur Batteries.
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors synthesize thin films of covalent organic frameworks (COFs) with azobenzene side groups branched to the pore walls.

Metal organic frameworks derived hierarchical hollow Ni0.85Se|P composites for high-performance hybrid supercapacitor and efficient hydrogen evolution
Yu Zhang,Tingting Wang,Yong Wang,Yuanqi Wang,Liqian Wu,Yuan Sun,Xuan Zhou,Wentao Hou,Youwei Du,Wei Zhong +9 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported carbon-incorporated mixed anionic nickel phosphorus-selenium (Ni0.85Se|P) hollow yolk-shell microspheres synthesized by simultaneous selenization and phosphatization of Ni-based metal organic framework (Ni-MOF).

Introducing Spin Polarization into Mixed‐dimensional Van der Waals Heterostructures for High‐Efficiency Visible‐Light Photocatalysis
Yong Wang,Wei Xu,Yun Zhang,Chengxin Zeng,Weining Zhang,Lin Fu,M Sun,Yizhang Wu,Jian Hao,Wei Zhong,Youwei Du,Rusen Yang +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a van der Waals heterostructures (vdWHs) and spin-polarized electron properties were used to improve the performance of photocatalytic materials.
