Cytotoxicity of interleukin 2-activated lymphocytes for leukemia and lymphoma cells
Kazuo Oshimi,Yoko Oshimi,Miyuki Akutsu,Yayoi Takei,Hiroshi Saito,Michiko Okada,Hideaki Mizoguchi +6 more
TL;DR: Mechanisms of target-cell recognition in the LAK system seem to be different from those in alloreactive cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) based on the results that, while cytotoxicity of allore active CTL was inhibited by the treatment of effector cells with mAb, OKT3, and OKT8, that of LAK was not inhibited.

Perforin gene expression in granular lymphocyte proliferative disorders
TL;DR: Perforin is probably a mediator in cytolytic functions of granular lymphocyte-proliferative disorders in patients with GLPDs, and the possibility that factors other than perforin protein are involved in the cytolynic functions ofgranular lymphocytes is not ruled out.

Ti (WT31)-negative, CD3-positive, large granular lymphocyte leukemia with nonspecific cytotoxicity.
Kazuo Oshimi,Shigeru Hoshino,Masatomo Takahashi,Masako Akahoshi,Hiroshi Saito,Yukio Kobayashi,Hisamaru Hirai,Takaku F,N Yahagi,Yoko Oshimi +9 more
TL;DR: The anti-CD3-mediated inhibition of nonspecific cytotoxicity suggested that an as yet unidentified Ti, present in association with the CD3 molecule on these lymphocytes, serves as a specific receptor for target tumor cell recognition.

Increased lysis of patient CD10-positive leukemic cells by T cells coated with anti-CD3 Fab' antibody cross-linked to anti-CD10 Fab' antibody
TL;DR: Findings suggest that the bispecific Ab can be used for immunotherapy in patients with CD10+ ALL, and did not affect the cytotoxicity of CTLs when CD10- leukemic cells were used as the targets.

Lysis of lymphoma cells by autologous and allogeneic natural killer cells
TL;DR: On the basis of the unlabeled target competition test and the decrease in cytotoxicity with anti-NK antibody treatment, NK cells appeared to be the main cytotoxic effector cells for autologous and allogeneic lymphoma cells.
