CD47/SIRPα blocking peptide identification and synergistic effect with irradiation for cancer immunotherapy.
Hongfei Wang,Yixuan Sun,Xiuman Zhou,Chunxia Chen,Ling Jiao,Wanqiong Li,Shanshan Gou,Li Yanying,Jiangfeng Du,Guanyu Chen,Wenjie Zhai,Yahong Wu,Yuanming Qi,Yanfeng Gao +13 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that CD47/SIRPα blocking peptides, pep-20 and its derivate, could serve as promising candidates to promote macrophages-mediated phagocytosis and immune response in cancer immunotherapy.

Tryptophan 2,3-dioxygenase 2 controls M2 macrophages polarization to promote esophageal squamous cell carcinoma progression via AKT/GSK3β/IL-8 signaling pathway.
Yumiao Zhao,Jiaxin Sun,Yin Li,Xiuman Zhou,Wenjie Zhai,Yahong Wu,Guanyu Chen,Shanshan Gou,Xinghua Sui,Wenshan Zhao,Lu Qiu,Yongjie Yao,Yixuan Sun,Chunxia Chen,Yuanming Qi,Yanfeng Gao,Yanfeng Gao +16 more
TL;DR: Results discovered that TDO2 could upregulate IL-8 through AKT/GSK3β to direct the polarization of M2 macrophages in ESCC, and suggested that TD O2 could represent as an attractive therapeutic target and prognostic marker to ESCC.

Blocking of the PD-1/PD-L1 interaction by a novel cyclic peptide inhibitor for cancer immunotherapy
Wenjie Zhai,Xiuman Zhou,Mingxia Zhai,Wanqiong Li,Yunhui Ran,Yixuan Sun,Jiangfeng Du,Wenshan Zhao,Lingxiao Xing,Yuanming Qi,Yanfeng Gao,Yanfeng Gao +11 more
TL;DR: C8 shows anti-tumor capability by blockade of PD-1/PD-L1 interaction, and C8 may provide an alternative candidate for cancer immunotherapy.

Repositioning Azelnidipine as a Dual Inhibitor Targeting CD47/SIRPα and TIGIT/PVR Pathways for Cancer Immuno-Therapy.
Xiuman Zhou,Ling Jiao,Yuzhen Qian,Qingyu Dong,Yixuan Sun,Wei V Zheng,Wenshan Zhao,Wenjie Zhai,Lu Qiu,Yahong Wu,Hongfei Wang,Yanfeng Gao,Junhui Chen +12 more
- 10 May 2021
TL;DR: In this paper, azelnidipine was found to dual block CD47/SIRPα and TIGIT/PVR pathways by co-targeting SIRP α and PVR.

Extracellular vesicle IL-32 promotes the M2 macrophage polarization and metastasis of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma via FAK/STAT3 pathway
Yixuan Sun,Yuzhen Qian,Chunxia Chen,Hongfei Wang,Xiuman Zhou,Wenjie Zhai,Lu Qiu,Xiaowen Zhou,Haoming Ning,Yumiao Zhao,Chao Shi,Lu Han,Yuanming Qi,Yahong Wu,Yanfeng Gao +14 more
TL;DR: In this article , an extracellular vesicle IL-32 (EV-IL-32) derived from esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) cells was found to promote the polarization of M2 macrophages via FAK-STAT3 pathway.
